I'm a little distressed that I recognized that so quickly.

There's got to be something better than this :) Still expressing some subconscious feelings about the Oscar nominees this year? In all seriousness, great job lately Nate.

How funny. I am just about to watch that for the very first time.

I also recognized it immediately but rather than finding it distressing, it filled me with joy. I should fire up the old laserdisc player and have a look at it again. Might help erase the memory of that awful turd DREAMGIRLS.

That is such a brilliant film. Love Shirley there! She shines! A masterpiece from Great Fosse! So GOOD!

Now people, THAT is a musical. A really good one.

Thank you for bringing up to my memory!

I don't actually like Sweet Charity that much, but I love several of the songs. Probably because I really didn't like the character of Charity, which kinda makes it hard. And it's so long. Why does that story deserve two and a half hours?

But, yeah, Fosse sure can direct a musical sequence! But, his best work was 3 and 10 years away.
